J. Max Barger is a member of the firm's
Estate Planning and
Estate/Trust Administration practice groups who concentrates primarily on estate planning and wealth transfers for families and business owners.
Before moving to the Washington, D.C. area in 2005, Mr. Barger practiced law in Norfolk, Va. He was an adjunct professor at Old Dominion University's Center for Global Business and Executive Education and at the Regent University School of Law and Graduate School of Business where he taught courses on Estate Planning and Taxation as well as Wills, Trusts and Estates. Mr. Barger is licensed by the Virginia Continuing Education Board to teach continuing education courses in Insurance, Financial and Estate Planning. He is a member of the Maryland and Virginia Bars.
Mr. Barger received his Bachelor's degree from Indiana University in 1987. He earned both his J.D. and Master of Business Administration degrees in 1995 at Regent University.
