Miguel A. Martínez Jr. is a member of the firm's

His practice includes the design and maintenance of employee benefit and retirement plans, business planning and formation and handling transactional matters for businesses and nonprofit organizations. He both speaks and writes Spanish fluently, which helps him assist clients
to adapt and thrive in today's diverse business community.
During law school, Mr. Martinez worked as a Student Attorney in the Janet R. Spragens Federal Tax Clinic where he represented low-income taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service. Prior to that, he worked as a law clerk to Commissioner Leslie E. Silverman, Vice Chair of the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and as a judicial intern to The Honorable E. Clayton Scofield III, United States Magistrate in the Northern District of Georgia.
After receiving his B.A. from Emory University, Mr. Martínez earned his J.D. at American University's Washington College of Law where he was an Executive Board Member of the Moot Court Honor Society and the Hispanic Law Student Association and a member of the Business Law Society. He is licensed to practice in Maryland
and the District of Columbia.
