Victor J. Rosenberg

Victor J. Rosenberg, a founding member of the firm, belongs to its Business/Commercial Transactions, Tax, Estate Planning, Estate/Trust Administration and Computer, Internet and Technology practice groups. He concentrates on corporate, real estate, business, estate planning, probate and tax matters and is also involved in family wealth preservation and business continuity through the establishment of charitable trusts of all types, private foundations, family partnerships and limited liability companies. Mr. Rosenberg is active in trust reformation as well as the financing and sale of beneficial interests in trusts. He has extensive experience in structuring and negotiating business and financing transactions, including the sale and acquisition of businesses, executive compensation, reorganizations and private placement syndications. He is an experienced tax attorney who represents corporate and individual clients before the Internal Revenue Service and federal courts.

Based on his years of tax practice, Mr. Rosenberg has been a national lecturer and seminar leader on numerous occasions. He also has written extensively on tax matters and is a member of the Section on Taxation of the American Bar Association. Prior to joining the firm, he was a principal in a national accounting firm and served as a lawyer with the Tax Rulings Division of the Internal Revenue Service.

Mr. Rosenberg graduated from George Washington University with a B.A. in Business and Accounting before earning his J.D. from the Washington College of Law at American University. He is a member of the Maryland, D.C., Virginia and Ohio Bars.
