Allison L. Lee is an associate in the firm’s Estate Planning, Estate/Trust Administration and Business/Commercial Transactions practice groups. She devotes much of her practice to preparing wills, trusts, family limited partnerships, powers of attorney and advanced medical directives. She also counsels clients on how best to preserve their estate assets and save taxes for future beneficiaries.
Ms. Lee most recently worked as a tax consultant in the Legal Division of the Comptroller of Maryland’s Office, investigating fraud and reviewing exemption certificates. She previously worked at the Annapolis District Court of Maryland where she played a key role in the creation of their Alternative Dispute Resolution program and assisted in the design of an evaluation system to continually improve and develop the program.
A cum laude graduate of the University of Maryland School of Law, Ms. Lee completed a full year program on mediation in family law, truancy in schools, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Maryland Home Improvement Commission. She graduated magna cum laude from Barnard College, Columbia University with a B.A. in Asian and Middle Eastern Studies. She has a passion for Asian culture and honed her Chinese language skills while studying abroad in Taiwan on a scholarship from the Taiwanese government.
Ms. Lee is a member of the Maryland Bar and a Qualified Mediator in the state.
