Jim Hammerschmidt and Jeffrey Hord presented to the Montgomery County Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) on May 16, 2018.
The presentation took a tour of the key state and federal cases that most impact the day-to-day lives of Human Resource Professionals. It also included an update on important federal, state and local legislation that impacts human resources professionals and their employers. The session helped human resources professionals stay abreast of the latest legal developments and the practical impact that such developments have on the workplace.
Jim Hammerschmidt is Co-President of the firm, Co-Chair of the Employment Law group, and a member of its Litigation and Appellate Practice groups.
Jeffrey Hord is a former Associate in the firm's Employment Law and Litigation practice groups.
