According to the National Center on Elder Abuse, elder financial abuse plagues millions of Americans each year, and it may be the number one crime committed against persons age 65 and older.
Debbie Cohn spoke on November 5, 2014 at the Suburban Hospital Estate Planning Journal Club’s monthly meeting about a new Paley Rothman initiative to address the prevalence and impact of elder financial abuse and how we can do our part to assist our clients and loved ones in combating increasingly sophisticated and persistent threats.
