Jessica Summers presented a webinar titled, “A Look Forward - What to expect from the New Administration,” on Wednesday, December 9, 2020, hosted by Montgomery County SHRM.
In this presentation, Employment Law attorney, Jessica Summers, discussed the anticipated changes and challenges for businesses in the new year. Jessica went over the impact that the new Biden Administration will have on the employment law landscape and the continuing issues surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic.
This presentation covered a number of timely issues, including which of President-Elect Biden’s labor and employment priorities are most (and least) likely to be accomplished in 2021, and what such changes would mean for Maryland businesses. Jessica discussed how the change of administration and developments in the fight against COVID-19 will impact key business concerns such as workplace safety measures, managing employees and leave issues.
