On May 18, 2016, the Department of Labor (DOL) issued its highly anticipated final rule modifying some of the most commonly used exemptions to the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) overtime requirements. This webinar provided an overview of the FLSA and the impact of the DOL’s new rules and explore what steps employers should take before the rules go into effect in December 2016.
