Navigating the Post-Election Tax Landscape Impact on US and Non-US HNW Individuals and Family Offices

Paul Marcotte was a panelist for a seminar titled “Navigating the Post-Election Tax Landscape Impact on US and Non-US HNW Individuals and Family Offices” on Monday, November 9, 2020 at 1:30 pm. The event was organized by STEP Mid Atlantic.

The Webinar focused on the post-election tax policy priorities for the White House and the Congress, including: 

  • Review of winning party tax policy proposals 
  • How these proposals might be enacted and effective dates (prospective or retroactive)
  • Panel discussion of domestic and cross-border planning opportunities (outbound and inbound) prior to year-end and in 2021

Paul Marcotte Chairs the firm’s Tax practice group and is a member of its Estate Planning, Estate & Trust Administration and Nonprofit groups. He is the current Chair of STEP Mid Atlantic.

The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) is the global professional association for practitioners who specialize in family inheritance and succession planning.
