Tax, Immigration Planning and Compliance for High Net Worth Individuals Acquiring U.S. Citizenship

Paul Marcotte spoke at the Bloomberg BNA live conference on June 12, 2017.

Paul, who Chairs the firm's Tax practice group and is a member of the Estate Planning, Estate & Trust Administration, and Nonprofit groups, participated in the day-long conference, titled: "Tax and Immigration Planning and Compliance for High Net Worth Individuals Acquiring U.S. Citizenship, Green Cards and Expatriating." Paul was on a panel and covered the tax compliance portion of the program which covered taxpayers with undisclosed offshore accounts/holdings, and various remedied strategies to avoid or reduce impact of often harsh penalties that can be applied absent timely disclosure.
