Howard Soypher co-chaired the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers – Maryland Chapter’s 20th Annual Symposium on Family Law on November 11, 2015. The symposium, entitled “E-Discovery: What Every Practitioner Must Know to Practice Law in the 21st Century,” focused on two main programs:
- E-Discovery Fundamentals, the recovery of electronically stored information (ESI) which includes social media, effective use of E-Discovery in low budget cases, ethical issues from both a client and attorney’s standpoint and where the minimum level of E-Discovery competence standard for attorneys is headed – presented by James Hennenhoefer, Esq. and Gordon Cruse, Esq. of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers – Southern California Chapter
- An interactive presentation regarding evidentiary use of ESI – with The Honorable Paul W. Grimm of the United States District Court for the District of Maryland, along with Mr. Hennenhoefer and Mr. Cruse
Howard is co-chair of the firm’s Family Law department.
