Paul Marcotte Publishes Two Articles in Legal Journals

Paul Marcotte, Tax Chair

Paul Marcotte, Jr. has been published twice in legal journals in recent months. His article on the U.S. federal government’s increasing enforcement effort targeting U.S. persons with undisclosed foreign accounts or holdings (“Update on FBAR’s, FATCA, OVDI and Emerging Trends in Cross-Border Tax Enforcement”) appeared in the November 2013 issue of the Journal of International Taxation.

Paul, who is the Chair of the firm’s Tax practice group and currently the chair of the Maryland State Bar Association Section on Taxation, penned a “From The Chair” article (in that group’s Fall 2013 Tax Talk newsletter) in which he discussed both parties in Congress negotiating the first major overhaul of the tax code in more than 25 years.

Both articles can be found in our Publications section:

“From The Chair,” MSBA Section on Taxation Tax Talk Newsletter, Fall 2013
