Experienced Trusts & Estates Attorney Cheryl Johnson Joins Paley Rothman

BETHESDA, MD (September 15, 2015) – Paley Rothman, a full service law firm serving corporate and individual clients throughout the Washington metropolitan area, is pleased to announce that Cheryl Sellers Johnson has joined the firm, effective August 31, 2015.

A member of the firm’s Estate Planning, Estate & Trust Administration, Tax and Science & Technology practice groups, Ms. Johnson has over 20 years experience advising clients on the full-spectrum of financial and business legal services, including wealth transfer, estates & trusts, tax law and elder law. In addition, she provides business law services, including business formation, business succession planning and tax planning strategies.

Prior to joining Paley Rothman, Ms. Johnson was Principal Attorney at Sellers Johnson Law, PC. She currently serves as Co-Chair of the Economics & Technology of Practice Committee of the Real Property Trusts & Estates Section of the American Bar Association, and is a Member of the Estate Planning Council of Montgomery County, Maryland. She also serves on the Board of the Mental Health Association of Montgomery County, Maryland, Representative Payee Program. Ms. Johnson received her LL.M. in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center with a Certificate in Estate Planning (2015); J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law (1994); M.S. from Johns Hopkins University (1991); and B.S. from Towson University (1986).
