Glenn Cooper Named Family Law “DC Lawyer of the Year,” Eight Attorneys Selected for Best Lawyers

BETHESDA, MD — Glenn Cooper has been named the Best Lawyers’ “2014 DC Family Law Lawyer of the Year,” and is one of eight Paley Rothman attorneys to be selected by their peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America for their outstanding work in various practice areas.

Mr. Cooper joins Hope Eastman (Employment Law-Management and Litigation-Labor & Employment), Daniel Hodin and Linda Schwartz (Real Estate), and Howard Soypher (Family Law) as repeat recipients. Paula Calimafde and Wayne Eig (both in Trusts & Estates), and Alan Mark (Real Estate) were honored for the first time.

“These honors are a testament to the hard work and the dedication to exceeding client expectations that all of our attorneys embrace,” said Paley Rothman Co-President Robert Maclay. “Having lawyers recognized in so many different practice areas speaks to the across-the- board quality of the firm. We are proud of those most recently recognized and congratulate them on this well-deserved honor.”

Best Lawyers has for more than a quarter century been regarded as the definitive guide to legal excellence in the United States. It bases its selections on the results of an extensive survey consisting of close to three million evaluations by the country’s top attorneys.

Paley Rothman, founded in 1972, has grown to a firm of more than 35 lawyers that provides legal counsel to corporate and individual clients in a wide range of practice areas. It maintains a business-orientation and handles tax, real estate, employment law, estate planning, litigation and a variety of other matters for businesses and professionals throughout the Washington metropolitan area.
