Paley Rothman "Top Ranked Law Firm"

BETHESDA, MD — Paley Rothman, now in its 40th year of serving corporate and individual clients throughout Maryland, Virginia, the District of Columbia and the surrounding region, has been recognized by Martindale-Hubbell and Fortune Magazine as one of the Top Ranked Law Firms in the United States.

Fewer than 1,000 of the more than 250,000 law firms in practice nationwide were selected for this honor—and from a local perspective, Paley Rothman was one of only five firms based in Montgomery County to receive this distinction.

Recognition was limited to law firms of 21 or more attorneys in which at least a third of its lawyers achieved the AV Preeminent Peer Review Rating, the highest rating available from Martindale-Hubbell. More than 80% of Paley Rothman’s 32 attorneys are currently rated AV Preeminent.

This inaugural list of Top Ranked Law Firms was featured in the 2012 “Investor’s Guide” issue of Fortune Magazine (Dec. 26, 2011 publication date). It remains online at Martindale.comlaw.com and CNNMoney.com.

In addition to being named a Top Ranked Law Firm, Paley Rothman was recently selected as one of the Best Law Firms by U.S. News & World Report and several attorneys have been individually recognized in Maryland Super Lawyers and Chambers USA for 2012.

Paley Rothman, founded in 1972, provides legal counsel to corporate and individual clients in a wide range of practice areas. It maintains a business-orientation and handles tax, real estate, employment law, estate planning, litigation, employee benefits and a variety of other matters for businesses and professionals throughout the Washington, D.C. metro area and around the country.
