Carlos Lastra Joins Firm as Principal in Family Law and Litigation Departments

Carlos Lastra has joined the firm as a member of its Family Law and Litigation practice groups. Carlos has represented clients in all aspects of family law – from prenuptial agreements, to highly sensitive divorces, to legal issues faced by same-sex couples, all with the singular focus of preserving their ability to maintain their familial relationships, as well as their financial well-being.

He has received numerous awards and honors, including “Top Divorce Attorney” by Washingtonian and Bethesda Magazine, as well as “Family Law Practitioner of the Year” by Montgomery County Bar Association. Carlos is licensed to practice in Maryland, the District of Columbia and Florida; the U.S. Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals; and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern District and Middle District of Florida.
