Paula Calimafde Panelist at U.S. Chamber of Commerce Conference on Retirement Benefits
Paula Calimafde will be a panelist at the US Chamber of Commerce conference, entitled “Private Retirement Benefits in the 21st Century: Achieving Retirement Security,” on February 5, 2016. The conference will highlight the success of the employer-provided retirement system and how that success can be continued to work toward achieving even greater retirement security.
During the conference, the Chamber will release their white paper prepared by the Chamber’s Employee Benefits Committee. Paula will be speaking on the panel entitled “Looking Forward – New Ideas, Tools and Opportunities,” addressing small business issues and whether the recommendations in the paper are helpful in achieving retirement security for employees of small businesses. The other panelists include members from Transamerica Corporation (Retirement Literacy), Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. (ESOPSs), and The Defined Contribution Institutional Investment Association (Automatic Enrollment).
Paula is Chair of the firm’s Retirement Plans, Employee Benefits and Government Relations practice groups.
