Scott Mirsky presented at The Association of Language Companies on May 1, 2019.
Our very own Scott Mirsky kicked off the presentations this morning in Washington, DC at the annual conference of The Association of Language Companies (a national trade association representing businesses that provide translation, interpretation, and localization). Scott provided the attendees with an update on the current legal “battle” between the classification of employees vs. independent contractors. Later in the day, the conference attendees headed to Capitol Hill to meet with Representatives and Congress to discuss this issue.
Scott is a member of the firm's Employment Law and Litigation practice groups.
